Apple Updates "Obsolete / Discontinued" Product

Apple on Tuesday updated the official obsolete and discontinued products list ("vintage and obsolete" products), added 2008--2009 years of Macintosh and other Apple hardware products obsolete / discontinued products, it means that Apple has been terminated for these products support and hardware services.

Obsolete products (Vintage Products) means the time has not produced between five to seven years of product. Apple discontinued hardware service for obsolete products, but based upon the legal requirements in some areas continue to provide support and hardware services



New obsolete products list includes:


iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2009)


iMac (27-inch, Late 2009)


MacBook Air (2009 year)


Mac Pro (Early 2009)


Time Capsule 802.11n (2nd Generation)


Discontinued Products (Obselete Products) are those that have stopped production of more than seven years of product. Apple has been terminated for all hardware and services for discontinued products, there are no exceptions, while service providers can not order parts for discontinued products.


New Discontinued Products include:


Apple Cinema Display (23-inch, DVI, 2007 New Year holidays)


Apple Cinema Display (30-inch DVI, 2007 New Year holidays)


MacBook (13-inch, Early 2008)


MacBook Pro (15-inch, Early 2008)


MacBook Pro (17-inch, Early 2008)


Time Capsule 802.11n (1st generation)


iPod touch with Jan SW UPG 32GB


According to Apple's official website explained that all the Apple Store and Canada, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific operating regions follow the US product list, but does not distinguish between obsolete and discontinued products. So Apple sold in China, obsolete products and discontinued products also does not distinguish.
